After Googing ‘tamagotchi blog’ and finding nothing currently being updated, I figured I would start one. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do and it will keep me from tabbing and storing my many tamas.

Right now, I’m running a Tamagotchi Connection v6 Music Star in the Techno Sound style. My brother gave it to me for my 24th birthday. I’m a little upset with myself because I had it in my pocket at work with my keys and the case got scratched. The screen wasn’t scratched, so I’m thankful for that at least.

The name of the tama inside is Button. He’s an adult already and I’ve only had him on for a few days. I wish they would stay babies for a little longer. He was born a Petitchi and turned into a Kuchitamatchi (since the first generation is an ‘odd’ generation). Yesterday, he was a Kikitchi and even though I normally don’t like monkeys, Kikitchi is pretty cute. Today while I was getting my hair cut, he turned into a Shimashimatchi. He’s really cute. :3
I love Tamagotchi names and I looked up the meaning of ’shima’ as soon as I was able. Per several online sources, ’shima’ (しま) translates to ’stripe’, which is very fitting for a striped tama that also enjoys striped things.
Button is very well behaved. I’ve never had to scold him for not doing what he’s told and he often practices his instruments without even being told. His Tone, Rhythm and Original are all around 600 and he’s rarely stressed. I couldn’t ask for a better tama. :3
