Wishlist
I am far from a ‘collector’ when it comes to Tamagotchi, but there are a few tamas that I would like, mostly because I love their cases and it’s always nice to have two of each Tamagotchi version so they can link together and use all their features. So, here is my Tama Wishlist…
Original Tamagotchi v1 in Purple with pink
First on my list is the Tamagotchi I had as a child, but no longer have. I think I had my parents return it and exchange it for a Digi Pet because the Tama was too hard to raise. I still regret it, so I’ll make it up someday by getting a mint v1 and pretending I’m a kid again. I do remember feeling awesome because I had a v1 and my friends all had v2 (my stats were in cm and kg and theirs were in and lbs).
Devilgotchi
It’s a pipe dream, as new Devilgotchi are normally around $200, but I would love one. They’re so quirky and cute and they’re so different from normal Tamas from around their time. It would be really hard for me to take any mint ones out of their packages, so I’d probably feel better with a used one than new. Leave the NIP ones to people who are real collectors.

I already have 1 v4, but I love these two v4 cases so much. The translucent white one reminds me a lot of vintage tamas and the sunflowers are just pretty, on the blue with the yellow ball.
Tamagotchi Connexion V4.5 Jinsei Plus in Blue
I don’t know if any stores in my area got the blue screen Jinsei tamas. I think this one is a Euro or Australian model because the page had connection spelled with an x like they do there. Either way, I love this case with the rainbow stars and the ura characters on the front. Too cute. :3
Tamagotchi Connection V 4.5 Tamagotchi PC Accessory Pack
I totally missed the v4.5 PC packs if they came to my area. The cute globe case is only available in this pack and look at the adorable tree cradle! I don’t really care about controlling my computer using the software (I’ve used voice recognition software on my computer in the past and it doesn’t save me any time in what I normally do), but it would be nice to have it anyway.
Asian Tamagotchi Familitchi v5 with Pets
I WANT THIS CASE!! I love bagubagutchi and onsen moguatchi (which means something about hot spring mole?). I’m sure choking hazards keep US tamas from having those cute keys on them, since all we get are the giant keyrings (and who puts keys on their tama?!). I think this is an Asian release to China or Philipines or something. I have yet to see one on Ebay or Amazon… someday.
Tamagotchi V5.5 Celebrity
I was aparantly asleep when the Celebrity Tamagotchis were released. I had no idea they came out until after I was doing some more research on the Music Star I got for my birthday. All of the cases are pretty cool, too. Do want!
Tamagotchi Music Star in Scarlet Rhythm
I already have one Music Star, so for the sake of connecting I would like to have a second one. This case is just so classy with the keyboard and black buttons. All of the Music Star cases are really slick, but this one caught my eye and would look cool with my Techno Groove case tama that I have now.
Tamawalkie
Another new release that slipped under my radar! It reminds me a lot of the Pocket Pikachu (of which I had both the original and color versions), but even cuter because you can straight up PICK Kuchipatchi!! I think there are three different cases, and they’re all cute.
I MUST HAVE A TAMAGOTCHI PLUS COLOR!! They’re completely awesome and I can’t wait to buy one. Sadly, they’re about $50 before shipping right now. I plan on picking up both a yellow and black so they can connect together. I highly doubt color tamas are going to make it to the States… the price tag will be too high for parents to justify buying for their children as the demographic for Tamagotchi ownership is very small here.
